The ProBasics K7 Heavy Duty Wheelchair features a robust design with a broader seat and higher weight capacity to accommodate patients in need. With seat widths from 22 to 28 inches, a weight capacity of 600 pounds, and a heavy-duty slide tube frame, the ProBasics extra-wide wheelchair offers a rugged yet attractive option for the bariatric patient population.

Supports up to 600 lbs. The bariatric wheelchair is made of rugged and durable steel to support up to 600 lbs. The heavy-duty wheelchair offers a dependable source of support for those in need.
Large 24" rear wheels for easy maneuvering. The rear urethane wheels make getting around smooth and easy. The durable hand rims offer gripping support and are designed to be handled every day.
Removable desk length arms with padded armrests. This ProBasics wheelchair combines dependability with comfort. The armrests can be removed when not in use, offering more room for moving.
Wheels lock in place for safety. The mobility wheelchair's easy-to-lock wheel locks make sitting in place convenient.
Available with swing-away or elevated padded leg rests. Choose from the convenience of swing-away footrests or the comfort of elevated leg rests for wheelchair leg support. Both can be removed without tools.
Chart pocket for holding items. The push wheelchair features a convenient chart pocket for holding documents or small items.
8" x 2" semi-pneumatic casters are adjustable in 3 positions. Add more custom comfort by adjusting the castors on the handicap wheelchair.
Available in multiple seat sizes. The adult wheelchair comes in various seat sizes including 28" x 20", 26" x 20", 24" x 18", and 22" x 18".
Limited lifetime on the frame and one year on all parts. If, for any reason, your wheelchair becomes defective and is still under warranty, we'll make it right.

My apologies

I left a bad review based on comments made by our daughter and the staff at the group home where she resides. We went to take pictures of the "issues" and found that it was more drama than fact. The chair was in no danger of falling apart and worked just as we'd expect. I'm changing my review based on our first hand account.

Not Bariatric. Couldn't support 350 lbs

Within a few months the screws holding the brakes, and the bolts on the wheels loosened. We've tightened everything as far as they'll go, but the chair still wobbles and our daughter doesn't feel safe. Several months ago, the seat cushion started to fray around the screws and several pieces have torn loose. We'll look for a new chair elsewhere. Very disappointed.

Need to publish width of Extra-Wide Wheelchair

I have 32" inside doorways. The wheelchair with the 24" seat is wider than 32" when in use. My front exterior door is 36". This chair does fix through the 36" exterior door.

Feels very sturdy and strong

I just received this wheelchair and it seems very sturdy and strong. Rolls very smoothly. It feels comfortable and roomy. I can't comment about it's durability because I just got it, but so far it appears to be well worth the price.

Disappointment with Charger

It was very disappointing to see charger works only on 110 Volts.While
Today most of the chargers works on Universal Range 110 - 240 Volts

Dry wipes!

Bought Carex Travel Pack at Walmart. Opened the first packet, wipe was dry, like it was never hydrated. Opened a second, dry. Opened third, fourth, all dry. And I can't return them as half of them are missing from the 10 pack. Not a Walmart problem. Won't buy Carex products again. Zero quality control!

I hope to broaden my terrain access with wider wheel

A little heavier to transport into and out of vehicles but hopefully more reliable on uneven surfaces .

Good product, terrible process

I found the online parts page somewhat confusing. It was difficult to determine the correct model and part number for a replacement wheel since they were almost buried in the fine print. Customer service got me the correct part number, but it cost me nearly $12 dollars to return the incorrect part and I never received a refund for the purchase price even though I followed the instructions given to me. In spite of this, the transport chair is just what my son needs for occasional trips. So I guess I would recommend your company but with cautions.
