How does the cane fold?

The cane is made in four sections. Grab the first section with the right hand and the second section with the left hand and pull gently apart and then fold and hold sections one and two in your right hand. Use the same procedure for sections three and four. Now slip a rubber band over the four sections.
Does it come with a tip?

Yes, it comes with a rubber tip for added grip and support.
how do you make it longer

There is a push button at the top of the cane below the handle. If you press that in, you'll be able to slide the cane up and down.
Does the rubber tip come off the A53700 model to accommodate a Carex self standing quad tip A70800? If so, does it pull off?

Yes, the self-standing quad cane tip will fit this model. All our rubber tip canes feature removable tips for replacement once worn. Hope this helps!
