Upgraded

Using the COMFORT GRIP waking cane as the initial platform, I converted it to meet the specifications of my walking stick patent. It worked perfectly. The cane is now changed to a dignified black swagger stick. It is attractively covered with no off-putting, utilitarian, hospital style adjustment holes, but the holes still function invisibly. It always attracts attention from senior citizens. Many want one like it. I could sell them for a premium but I don’t. I give them copies also made from CAREX canes. Folks love them.

I can make this patent available to Carex for the pleasure of seeing more people benefit from them.

Falls apart

Bought this cane, and in about a week, the handle came loose from the shaft. Thinking maybe it was a one-off failure, I bought another one. The handle on the second one fell off in about 10 minutes. Took both canes, cleaned the old glue off and used epoxy to reattach the handles. We'll see how that works.

Personal opinion: If you are not handy at fixing things, I would stay away from this cane!

Thus far one of the best canes I've been able to find.
I did improve on the quality of the rubber foot ans increased the diameter size with one that was latger for a more stable base tha would last longer.
I wish the diameter of the cane was available in a 3/4" shaft with the same handle
