Carex Hand-Held Shower Spray With Diverter Valve

I have used a lot of plumbing products. This product is a the most poorly manufactured product I have ever come across. There was nothing about this product that resembles quality execution. Your company should be ashamed.

I wasn't too sure about this item when I ordered it, as to whether or not it would measure up to it's claims. My wife needed a hand held sprayer that she could use to wash her hair when bathing in the tub, and I was concerned about the length of the hose being long enough to reach and do the job while she was sitting in our full size tub. This item is perfect for the task. There is plenty of length for her to sit comfortably and manipulate the spray around her head and shoulders as she wishes. The diverter valve attached quite easily does not leak and the off/on control does the job with no effort. It is a perfect solution for me.

I like the fact that this hand-held shower does not replace the regular shower head. Just a push of the button switches from one to the other. Handy for helping a handicapped person bathe.

I bought this handheld shower to use while washing my dogs in the bathtub. My wife and I are both happy with it. It feels a little "light duty" with a small handle and plastic diverter valve, but seems to work well. I've seen other reviews that say they've had leaks, but ours does not leak even when the water is turned on at the faucet and off at the hand held part. We bought this one because we wanted the ability to turn off the water using just the shower wand without having to reach to the shower handle or readjust the hot/cold setting. We were happy to see that the wand valve doesn't just turn it on and off, but can adjust from low flow to a full spray as well. Overall, this is a pretty good shower wand and at under 20 bucks it's a great value.

This product meets with my expectations. The only one that allows me to use my existing showerhead (that I like) with the added benefit of a hand showerhead. Very, very good for my aged father who lives with me. He can hold it, because it's lightweight and can wash while on the shower bench.
