Immediately upon unboxing I could tell this product is of very low quality. As I removed the pieces from the box, I could hear and feel the thin brittle plastic bend and buckle simply from removing it from its cardboard home. When I took the main lamp part out, I could hear the clattering of tiny plastic pieces that had broken off somewhere inside. With some twisting and turning I was able to remove them through the vent holes, they didn't appear to be anything important, but nonetheless served to demonstrate the quality of the product. I had to be extra cautious putting it together, and it's a miracle nothing broke upon assembly. I can tell this product will not last. One wrong bump or slight drop and it will be done. Shattered to a million pieces. 130$ was far too much to pay for this brittle plastic abomination. I would put its value at 50$ at best. This level of quality is what I would expect from something I bought at Walmart, not a medical supply store. This is my first SAD lamp, and I am profoundly disappointed. It's disheartening to see such a company take advantage of a niche market to price gouge. I sure hope there are better products out there.
Super bright light, even brighter than expected. Definitely has a positive impact in the dark mornings.
Lamp works well. I plugged it into a timer to turn on automatically early every morning. Only complaint is about the shipping. The lamp was shipped without concern for damage. No outer box outside the lamp's original package, like Amazon. Fortunately it still worked.
I live in the sun-deprived Northeast and I’ve been using this light daily for 2 1/2 years from late Nov thru late April for ~30 minutes every morning while I eat breakfast or read. It’s so well made as it’s still looks\works as well as the day it arrived & love that it’s very position adjustable. Because it folds down & is looks nice when not in use, I can keep it out on our dining table without it being in the way. (See photo) Definitely feel better using it daily. Recommend highly.

I skimp on a lot of my self care routine, but not my light therapy. This is a really bright light. I like that I can change the angle of it. There was a problem with mine and customer service fixed it right away.
